Pre-Event Screening

Depending on the nature of an event, or when considered necessary by PPG Paints Arena management, a visual or full search may be conducted by PPG Paints Arena security on all patrons and/or show personnel prior to entering the building.

Patrons or guests not wishing to be searched may return tickets immediately to the box office for a refund.

Visual Searches

Patrons will be asked to open any coats, bags or containers of any type. Security will visually scan all patrons as they enter for any possible illegal items.

Full Searches

Patrons will be asked to open any coats, bags or containers and also be physically patted down or scanned with a metal detector or handheld wand.

The following items are not permitted in PPG Paints Arena

  • Outside food and beverage
  • Cans, bottles, coolers or other similar containers
  • Laser Pens or Laser Products of any type
  • Fireworks
  • Air horns or noise makers of any type
  • Alcohol of any type
  • Weapons of any type
  • Any other item determined to be unacceptable by CONSOL Energy Center management

In the event items are revealed during a search, the patron(s) will be permitted to return to their vehicle with the item or they can dispose of the item. CONSOL Energy Center will not safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type.

PPG Paints Arena management has the sole right to determine the type of pre-event screening.

Eviction Policy

The following behaviors or activities are causes for eviction from PPG Paints Arena

  • Use of profanity or unacceptable language of any type
  • Possession of illegal or unauthorized items inside CONSOL Energy Center
  • Unacceptable dress
  • Public drunkenness
  • Entering or attempting to enter any “off-limits” area such as the playing surface, stage area, backstage, or restroom of the opposite sex
  • Participating in a fight; verbally abusing, threatening, or intimidating other patrons or building employees
  • Throwing any objects from suites or upper levels onto lower areas; throwing objects of any type at other patrons, employees, or guests of CONSOL Energy Center
  • Possession of stolen tickets
  • Possession of any unauthorized banners or signs
