Parking Information

PPG Paints Arena has 5 private parking lots, which can accommodate a total of approximately 2300 vehicles.

All lots are located across Centre Avenue adjacent to the Mellon Arena and are patrolled by PPG Paints Arena security vehicles. The lots are designated as North Lot, East Lot, South Lot, West Lot, and Melody Tent Lot. Unauthorized vehicles parked illegally or in restricted areas are subject to tagging and towing without notice.

Parking Lot Policies

  • No in/out privileges without prior authorization
  • No overnight parking unless approved in advance
  • Absolutely no solicitation of any type
  • No open fires or consumption of alcoholic beverages

Parking Lot Locations

  • North Lot: Bedford Avenue
  • West Lot: Chatham Center (across the street from Chatham Center) Washington Place
  • South Lot: Centre Avenue
  • East Lot: Centre Avenue and Lemieux Place
  • Melody Tent Lot: Above East Lot, located on Centre Avenue

Event Parking Passes

A limited number of parking passes are available for your event. If additional spaces are required, they can be reserved for a fee.

Event Parking Rates

CAPCO is responsible for all parking operations. Specific questions regarding parking can be answered at 412-804-3371 or by emailing Ray Wolowicz with CAPCO Parking at parking@ppgpaintsarena.com. Event rates per vehicle may vary from event to event.

Show Truck/Bus Parking

Parking for show trucks and buses is available in the truck compound on the East side of the building, located off of Our Way and Colwell Street.  Please coordinate this with Event Operations prior to the event.
